Training

We have provided training for school districts across the country for the last five years.  Training for school counselors and/or teachers is available from the program developers, Dr. Greg Brigman and Dr. Linda Webb. 

Although the detailed SSS Classroom and SSS Group curriculums are designed to be used without training, we have found that training makes it easier for counselors and teachers to implement the program with a high degree of confidence right away.  We have also worked with school districts to develop a train the trainer model so that future trainings can be led by district staff.

Many districts use Title I: Instructional strategies and staff development, Safe and Drug Free Schools, SAI, and Local School Improvement funds to finance SSS training.  We  provide grant templates if requested.

We also consult with school districts on how to easily collect accountability data that shows that the SSS program makes a difference in student academic performance. If your district is interested in training please contact us at SSSAEC@aol.com.
